- **Event Description**: All 2026 AACA Summer Arts Camps take place at The Arts Center, 320 North White Street, Athens, TN. For grade ranges, students must have completed the grade in the 2025-26 school year. 

In Jr. Musical Theatre Camp 2026, students in grades 1 - 6 spend two weeks preparing to perform a 30-minute musical. 

Directed by ACT veterans, Michael Webb and Ethan León, Jr. Musical Theatre Camp focuses on preparation for a musical production, and is a great learning opportunity for youth who enjoy theatre. 

The camp day is 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, June 15 - 26. 

Camp ends with three ticketed performances of the 30-minute musical Disney and Pixar’s “Finding Nemo KIDS” on Friday and Saturday June 26 and 27. 

The first day of camp includes an audition for the show, which campers will prepare for in the morning of camp. All camp participants are guaranteed a part in the show. 

Camp tuition is $250 and includes materials and a t-shirt. 

Registration deadline for Jr. Musical Theatre Camp is Monday June 1, 2026. Full and partial need-based scholarships are available through the Marian Biddle Trew Scholarship Fund. The deadline for scholarship applications for Jr. Musical Theatre Camp is May 25, 2026.

The Arts Center staff is available for questions and registration via phone or in person during office hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and encourages early registration as camps fill up quickly and spots are limited. 

An additional application is required for financial assistance. The scholarship application is available upon request from The Arts Center. Visit in-person, call 423-745-8781, or email artsed@athensartscouncil.org for scholarship applications.
