These events are casual fundraisers where $1 from select draft pints support the Athens County Independent. Come support local news with local brews at a local business!

This is our last in-person fundraiser of the year, and it's during NewsMatch, so be sure to stop by. Now is the perfect time to make a donation because NewsMatch is doubling the value of all donations through Dec. 31.

We'll also be collecting items for the Athens County Food Pantry. The food pantry needs: canned vegetables, peanut butter, canned meats, beef stew/chili, dried nuts and fruits, cereal and diced tomatoes/sauce. Toilet paper, menstrual products and other hygiene items are also welcomed donations. Find more info on what to donate here: https://athenscountyfoodpantry.org/support
