Η καλλιτέχνις αναφέρει: «Μέσα από αυτή τη σειρά έργων μου αναφέρομαι στην ανάγκη του ανθρώπου να αποσπαστεί από τον γενικό θόρυβο και να αναζητήσει τα δικά του σημαντικά σημεία, αυτά που του υπαγορεύει ο εαυτός του και που τον διαφοροποιούν από τους άλλους».

Γεννημένη στην Αθήνα το 1970, η Ράνια Ράγκου σπούδασε ζωγραφική στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας (1989-1994) και στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών στη Μαδρίτη της Ισπανίας (1994-1995), Video Art και Μουσική & Τεχνικές Ήχου στο New School και στη Σχολή Εικαστικών Τεχνών στη Νέα Υόρκη των ΗΠΑ (1998-99). Έχει παρουσιάσει το έργο της σε ατομικές και ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα, την Ιταλία, την Ισπανία, την Πορτογαλία, τη Βραζιλία, την Τουρκία, τη Γερμανία. Έργα της βρίσκονται σε ιδιωτικές και δημόσιες συλλογές.

From November 6 to December 6, 2025, the Alma Gallery presents the new solo exhibition by artist Rania Ragkou. The artist states: "Through this series of works, I refer to the human need to detach oneself from the general noise and seek one's own important points, those that are dictated by one's self and that differentiate one from others."

Rania Rangou was born in Athens in 1970. She studied Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1989–1994) and continued her studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Madrid, Spain (1994–1995). In 1998–1999 she attended the New School and the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she focused on Video Art as well as Music and Sound Techniques. Rangou has presented her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Turkey, and Germany. Her works are part of private and public collections.
