Kick off your spring season at the 2026 Border Battle Shootout, a fast-paced 4v4 youth soccer tournament in Athens, PA right along the PA–NY border. This small-sided event is perfect for U8–U16 boys and girls teams from Northern Pennsylvania and Upstate New York looking to sharpen skills, build chemistry, and prepare for league play.

💲 Cost: $225 per team
Format & Divisions
- 4v4 play (no goalies)
- Max roster size: 7 players
- U8–U16 boys & girls divisions
- Separate brackets for boys and girls
- Minimum 3 games guaranteed (single 20-minute period per game)
- Capacity up to 64 total teams (divisions may fill quickly)
Awards & Experience
- Medals for the top two teams in each division
- Post-event photos and media recap
- 4v4 turf and grass fields (approx. 28 x 36 yards)
- On-site restrooms, concessions, and event apparel
- Plenty of bleacher seating and space for teams and families
Community Impact
Proceeds from the Border Battle Shootout support the Twin Tiers Athletic Association and Athens Soccer—helping expand local soccer opportunities and move toward a multi-use sports, wellness, and recreation center in the Athens–Sayre–Waverly area.
