Join us for an afternoon of love, laughter, and giving back as we rally around our friend Michael Starkey- a mother, educator, and fierce advocate for children in our community. Michael is a mom to twin boys who attend Athens City Schools (where she works) and has spent her career lifting others up through her work as an administrator, educator, and volunteer on the CASA board and the Children's Conservation League. Now, it is our turn to show up for her.
Earlier this spring, Michael was diagnosed with Stage 2 gastroesophageal junction cancer. She is currently undergoing some of the most intense chemotherapy available and will soon face a major surgery, followed by additional chemo and immunotherapy. While she focuses on healing, we are throwing a party with purpose to help support her and her family during this time.
What to Expect:

-Cold drinks, warm hearts, and the joy of community
