Η ένταση, η ατμόσφαιρα και ο χειρουργικός ήχος τους, εκεί όπου η drum & bass συναντά το νευρικό precision του neurofunk, υπόσχονται μια νύχτα που θα μείνει χαραγμένη στην ιστορία της αθηναϊκής bass σκηνής.

Οι Black Sun Empire αποτελούν ένα από τα πιο εμβληματικά και αναγνωρίσιμα σχήματα της διεθνούς drum & bass σκηνής.
Ιδρύθηκαν στο Ρότερνταμ της Ολλανδίας στα τέλη των ’90s από τους Rene Verdult, Micha Heyboer και Milan Heyboer, και από τότε διαμόρφωσαν έναν χαρακτηριστικό, σκιώδη ήχο που συνδυάζει το βάθος του techstep, την ένταση του neurofunk και την ατμόσφαιρα του sci-fi κόσμου που δημιούργησαν μέσα από τη δισκογραφία τους.

Με εμβληματικά albums όπως Driving Insane, Cruel & Unusual και From the Shadows, καθώς και μέσα από τη δική τους δισκογραφική Blackout Music NL, έχουν καθιερωθεί ως πρωτοπόροι της σύγχρονης dark drum & bass κουλτούρας.
Έχουν εμφανιστεί στα μεγαλύτερα φεστιβάλ του κόσμου, όπως το Let It Roll, Rampage, Outlook, και Glastonbury, αφήνοντας παντού πίσω τους μια φήμη για απόλυτα immersive, υψηλής ενέργειας sets που συνδυάζουν τεχνική ακρίβεια και συναισθηματική ένταση.
