Athens Area Council for the Arts cordially invites you to join us in an elegant evening to raise funds for operations and programs of The Arts Center, an arts and cultural hub of our region. The formal event includes a cocktail hour, catered dinner, live music, as well as silent and live auctions. A wide array of impressive items are donated by businesses, artists, arts organizations, and individuals so that one hundred percent of the auction proceeds benefit The Arts Center and its programming.
This year’s Arts Gala will be a night to remember with luxurious food catered by Aramark Collegiate Hospitality, dance music by Love, Peace & Happiness Band, and more, all in support of the arts and arts education in Athens.
The evening begins at 6:30 PM with the opening of the silent auction, cash bar, and hors d’oeuvres. After the catered dinner, you can participate in the live auction featuring special items like original artwork and one-of-a-kind experiences. Following the live auction, the band gets you to the dance floor.
Tickets are $75 per person and patrons may purchase a seat, a group of seats, or an entire table. Tickets are available now, and advanced reservations are required. Proceeds from the silent and live auctions support arts and cultural programming for Athens, McMinn County, and our region.
Seat and table reservations are available at The Arts Center, 320 North White Street in Athens, online at athensartscouncil.org, or by phone at (423)745-8781. The event organizers kindly request that attendees purchase seats or tables by February 24, 2026. As seating is limited, patrons are encouraged to reserve seats early before this special event sells out. The Arts Gala is for attendees twenty-one and older. The Arts Gala is a formal event and, while dressy attire is suggested, black tie is optional.
Proceeds from The Arts Gala support school and community arts education. AACA has been a vital presence in McMinn County since 1979, presenting thousands of performances, exhibitions, artist residencies, art classes and more by international, regional, and local artists of all types and genres. It has created and sustained many arts groups throughout the years, including the Athens Community Theatre, the Athens Area Children’s Choir, and the Unity Gospel Choir, and the organization has contributed technical assistance to many more groups and individuals. AACA’s current program of work is featured at athensartscouncil.org. Anyone interested in donating to the auction, or to the event in any way, may call The Arts Center.
