- **Event Description**: Ο σύλλογος Vana Ba Afrika σας προσκαλεί σε μια σύντομη περιπλάνηση στην Αφρική, όπου θα έχετε την ευκαιρία να δείτε και να θαυμάσετε πανέμορφες παραδοσιακές χειροτεχνίες ενώ συγχρόνως θα απολαμβάνετε τους μαγευτικούς ήχους των μουσικών κρουστών της Ηπείρου, από την Νότια ως την Βόρεια και από την Ανατολική έως την Δυτική Αφρική!
H μεταναστευτική/προσφυγική κοινότητα στην οποία συμμετέχουν η δέυτερη γενιά/Αφρο-'Ελληνες και φίλοι/ες της αφρικανικής κουλτούρας γεννήθηκε το 2013. Τα χρήματα που μαζέυομε απο τις εκδηλώσεις μας είναι για φιλανθρωπικούς σκοπούς. Μάλιστα, έχουμε καταφέρει να φτιάξουμε ενα πηγάδι  στην περιοχή Koulikoro στο Mali. Επίσης, έχουμε κατασκευάσει μια αίθουσα (πρώτης τάξης) δημοτικού σχολείου στο Σίμπι, Μάλι!

Στον χώρο θα υπάρχει κουτί ελεύθερης συνεισφοράς. Τα έσοδα θα διατεθούν για τη συνέχιση του έργου μας: την κατασκευή μίας άλλης αίθουσας (δευτέρας τάξης) δημοτικού σχολείου του χωριού Siby, στο Μάλι της Δυτικής Αφρικής – έργο που ξεκινήσαμε πέρσι. 
Vana Ba Afrika would like to invite you for a short walk through Africa, to admire our beautiful colourful crafts while listening to magical drumbeat sounds of the continent, from South to North, East to West! Vana Ba Afrika was founded in 2013 by a group of immigrants (1st and 2nd generation/Afro-Greeks), refugees and lovers of the African culture. The money we raise at our events is used to help those in need. Indeed, we have managed to raise enough funds to build a fresh-water well for the people of the Koulikoro area in Mali. We have also built the first classroom (1st grade) of a primary/elementary school in Siby, Mali. 
FREE ENTRANCE! There will be a donation box on site. All proceeds will go towards continuing our project: the construction of yet another classroom (2nd grade) of the primary/elementary school in the village of Siby, in Mali, West Africa - a project we began last year.
