2026 Athens-Limestone Empty Bowls Luncheon

For the past 10 years, the Limestone County Empty Bowls Project has focused on bringing people together to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger in our community. Through a simple meal and a handcrafted pottery bowl, participants are reminded that while hunger is real – so is our ability to help.

We invite you to join us for the 2026 Athens-Limestone Empty Bowls Luncheon on February 27 at Revival - First Presbyterian Church. Ticket holders receive two servings of soup, bread, and a handmade pottery bowl. Tickets are $20 and available from committee members, the church offices at First Presbyterian, Athens First Methodist, First Baptist, and online via Square: https://square.link/u/R6H1W89s

All proceeds are donated to local food pantries, hunger relief organizations and homeless advocacy groups.
