You Are Warmly Invited to Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas with us on Christmas Eve at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 301 N. Seventh Street, Atchison, KS.   

Please come and Worship with us at the Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship Service on Wednesday, December 24 at 6:00 PM  

We will all Light the Candles together and rejoice in the Candlelight! 

Experience beautiful Christmas music, the peaceful beauty of candlelight worship, and the timeless Christmas story as we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child and welcome Jesus Christ, the Light of the World. 

The message for the evening will be 
“The Light Has Not Been Overcome by the Darkness” 
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” 
— John 1:5 

✨ Nursery care will be available. All are welcome—friends, families, and visitors.  First Christian Church, 301 N. Seventh Street, Atchison, Kansas 

Come as you are and share in the hope, peace, and joy of Christmas Eve. 

If you have been away from church, what a wonderful time to return. 

If you have never been to church, Christmas Eve is a lovely service. 

Everyone is welcome to celebrate the Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. 

I am The Pastor, William Mitchell. This will be my first Christmas in Atchison and at this Church. I am very proud of this congregation of Christians seeking to follow the Loving Savior that came to show us the way.

It is hard to be a Christian as a lone ranger, it takes a village, a Church, to follow Jesus.  

I wish you the hope, faith and love of Jesus Christ this Christmas.
