Segrid Coleman is the lead singer and principal songwriter for The Karman Line, a genre-blending band from the North Coast. With a voice that carries both grit and tenderness, she shapes the band’s distinctive sound by blending blues, indie rock, and cosmic Americana. Her lyrics lean into honesty and edge, pairing vulnerability with a raw, unfiltered intensity.
On stage, Coleman is commanding and electric, a performer who draws listeners in rather than playing to them. Off stage, she’s a quiet storm—crafting songs that feel like late-night conversations you weren’t supposed to overhear. That tension between intimacy and power defines both her writing and her presence.
Since founding The Karman Line, Coleman has guided the band into a devoted following across indie venues and festivals. Whether singing a stripped-down ballad or a soaring anthem, her music carries both intimacy and force—resonating long after the last note fades
