- **Event Description**: Registration and art drop-off for the MAAA’s 45th Annual Art Show & Sale will take place at the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art (NSCNA) at 176 Water Company Road in Millersburg on the following dates:

Sat., Dec. 6th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon
Mon., Dec. 8th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tues., Dec. 9th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This show is open to any artist living in Northern Dauphin, West Schuylkill or Lower Northumberland Counties and/or artists who have been a member of the MAAA for at least one year.

There is $1,000.00 in prize money awarded to the winners by Mid Penn Bank. Cash prizes will be awarded in oil, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, mixed media and photography.

Categories are Professional, Non-Professional and Student. Members and non-members of the MAAA are encouraged to enter.  Students in grades 9 - 12 must attend or be living in an area high school district. 

Each student will be permitted to submit 1 entry.  Professional or Non-Professional will be permitted 2 entries.

Entries must be original (no copies or prints) and completed within the last two years. Work must not have been entered in a previous MAAA show.

All entries must have screw eyes and wire to hang and cannot exceed total dimensions of 62” (Width + Length). No ratchet or saw tooth devices for hanging. Three dimensional items will not be accepted.

Cost of registration per entry is: $1.00 for students, $5.00 for members and $7.00 for non-members.

A reception with light refreshments will be held at the NSCNA on Fri., Dec. 12th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Winners will receive their award at 6:30 p.m.

The artwork may remain on display (and for sale) at the NSCNA until Sat., Jan. 3rd, 2026. Participants may pick up their artwork beginning Tues., Jan. 6th through Fri., Jan. 9th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
