Stories of Home - December 11th - 6-7pm
Home. That one small word creates a different image for each and every person. Even if two people were living in the same home, the things we choose to focus on might be different. Whether it is the smell of a home cooked meal, the sound of the creak in the floor, or the sight of the evening sun shining in the front window, we can bring those images to life through story. This month we will focus on details and descriptions that create a home we know, a home we love, or even a place we hope to call home one day.
A brief history of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Mister Rogers Homes from around the world

We love literature because of the authors that came before us. We love their style, their ideas, their personal touch on the very words they choose to use. Their words take us to settings real and imagined. They develop characters that become like friends and family to us. Author adaptations will leave you feeling inspired to develop your own style of writing, your own ideas, and put a personal touch on the way you choose to tell your story.
Each month we will take a look at authors who mastered their craft and adapt them in a way that reflects us as independent authors. You will walk away with stories started, points to ponder, and a community of collaborators to support your storytelling journey.
