# Event Details - **Event Name**: Trivia Night 2026 - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 25 Jul, 2026 at 05:30 pm – Sat, 25 Jul, 2026 at 10:30 pm - **Event Description**: Tickets are now available to our best night of the year for the Adults at Aspley..... Trivia Night 2026!!! This year our theme is Book Week. This is a chance to dress up as those book characters that your kids said weren't "cool" enough or maybe you want to come as a character from a book that was written for people over the age of 12. You also might have a book series that you want to pay homage too or a style of book you just can't get enough of (horror, crime, romance, fantasy etc). Think outside the box and bring those books to life and show the kids how we do BOOK WEEK! This year tickets can be purchased individually at $15 per person. We want you to have a good night at a great price! When you purchase your tickets just let us know what team you are a part of by either putting the team name or a team captain name that we can link you too. This is just to help us with set up so we know how many team tables to put out. If you don't have a team let us know and we will find you some great buddies to play with. Tickets will be available at the door between 5:30pm - 6:15pm. If you are wanting to commence a whole new team table please come to the hall between 2-4pm at set up time or contact Rebecca on her phone. Join us for a night of great Adults Only fun - Gather friends and family to make a table, or register yourself and we'll find you new friends. DOORS OPEN: 5.30pm so you can set up and get comfortable, with trivia commencing at 6.30pm. COST: $15 per person. DRESS UP! The theme is "Book Week" - choose a character, a book, a author, a genre anything book related and dress up yourself and your table - Best Themed Team will win a prize. BOOK PRIZE SUPRISE! Last year we did Secret Santas to go in our prize pool and it was so much fun that we thought lets do it again. This time we are asking teams to bring along a Suprise Book Prize. If each team wouldn't mind contributing 1 or more books to our prize pool that our winners can pick at random. Wrap your team book prize to keep it a real surprise for our winners. The book might relate to your team theme or maybe you get creative and come up with a different book. Have some fun with it. If we get enough books the top two teams can come up and pick some book prizes to add to their other take home goodies. BYO FOOD! There will drinks for sale as well as some basic snacks but to make sure your brains are fueled please feel free to bring along your Book Nook snacks for your team to share. Of course you can arrange to have food delivered to you on the night. The delivery address for Aspley SS Hall is 19 Horn Road. PS Don't forget to bring along a cup for your drinks. SILENT AUCTION! There will be a silent auction at the event like other years so check out what's on offer by our generous business donations and put in your bid. RAFFLE! We are having a Raffle for trivia this year that is available to all at the school both those attending and those that aren't. Donated by the P&C one lucky winner will receive a $200 Uniform Shop Voucher and a $50 Snack Shack Voucher to be used at Aspley State School. The perfect prize to help with the cost of living. There may be a raffle prize on the night for those in attendance we are waiting to see what donations we have come in and work that out. PHOTO BOOTH! Yes this year we are hoping to have a photo booth at the trivia night. What a great chance to get a photo of you and the team in your amazing costumes! We thank our photo booth team very much for this awesome addition to the night. BONUS POINT GAMES! There will be a number of chances throughout the night to make bonus points for your team or win bonus mini prizes. RANDOM CHALLENGE BOWL (for those that dare), LUCKY BOOK SELECTION and 1 other book fun game to be announced. When purchasing tickets please indicate what team you are a part of by either putting the team name or nominate one team member as captain and put their name. If you are the "team captain" can you please indicate your total table number when booking so we can set the hall up with correct table sizes. If you don't know just yet just indicate what number of people you hope to have and that will work.
