Thanksgiving Meal (Grocery Distribution) for Veterans

We’re honored to share that 100 Thanksgiving grocery meals will be distributed to our local veteran community as a result of the generosity of Doctors Terri Hrina-Treharn and Heather Hrina-Medvec and the incredible young volunteers of The Boo Squad, a service group for kids ages 7–13 that fosters teamwork, compassion, and volunteerism.

📦 Each grocery bag includes:

✅ 1 Frozen Turkey
✅ 4 cans Green Beans
✅ 1 can French-Fried Onions
✅ 2 cans Cranberry Sauce
✅ 2 boxes Mashed Potato Mix
✅ 2 boxes Mac & Cheese
✅ 2 containers Stuffing Mix
✅ 2 boxes Rice
✅ 2 Graham Cracker Pie Crusts
✅ 2 cans Apple or Pumpkin Pie Filling
✅ 2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
✅ 2 cans Corn
✅ 2 cans Sweet Potatoes

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Eligibility & Guidelines:

One grocery distribution per veteran household. If your household has more than one veteran, you are eligible for one distribution only. Distribution follows the same rules as our holiday voucher program and is on a first come, first serve basis.

🚗 Meals were picked up and delivered by VSC Board Member, Richard Arndt and student volunteers from the Geneva Area City School District. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who made this possible!
