The Ashtabula County Veterans Service Commission invites our veteran community, families, and supporters to join us on June 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. for a historic moment — the burial of a Veterans Time Capsule in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday.

This will be a 50-year time capsule, sealed in 2026 and scheduled to be exhumed in 2076, preserving the stories, memories, and legacy of today’s veterans for future generations.

This commemorative ceremony honors service, sacrifice, and patriotism — connecting today’s veterans with tomorrow’s Americans.
