Join us for our fourth yoga workshop Sunday, February 24 at 9:30.
This workshop will focus on pranayama and how to use the breath for centering, bringing awareness to your body and deepening the postures.
Pranayama is usually translated to mean "breath control" or "conscious breathing" and is one of the "eight limbs of yoga" according to Patanjali. Breathing techniques can help restore balance in the body and mind and are a main component of yoga.
