Optional transportation by your own vehicles 15 $ /person ๐Ÿ“œ DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: ======================== First, we will visit Hsarat village and a quick visit to ๐Ÿ’’ Deir Mar Youhanna (St. John). We will ๐Ÿšถ hike together in one group along a downhill and uphill easy path. We will walk down from Hsarat to Bjerrine (the ๐Ÿ‘ป Ghost Village) then to Hbaline. We will get to walk along the mountain on a ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฅพ Phoenician track ๐Ÿ”ญ overlooking the spectacular Mediterranean Sea, reach breathtaking views exposed to the sun. The track is not hard. The walk will be around 2.3 - 3hrs., will visit on our way to ๐Ÿ’’ โ€œOld St Jhon Churchโ€ at Al- Shir. The views are spectacular every step of the way, till we get to Bjerrine Village. Itโ€™s ๐Ÿ•Š an abandoned old village that sits on Dahr El Batha. It was once a beautiful village, famous for its vegetation with a plentiful supply of ๐Ÿ’ง water from deep wells. We will visit the ๐Ÿ’’ old church ofโ€ Mar Eliasโ€ and will walk among many ancient ruins and caves dating from the Canaanite, Phoenician and Roman eras and pass by abandoned houses, mills, and wells. From there will take the easy uphill trail to Hbaline, to visit the village. There will ๐Ÿ‘“ discover great landmarks where we will take some magical ๐Ÿ“ท photos. This ๐ŸŒ… sunset hike must not be missed.
