Donโ€™t miss the opportunity to contemplate the sky and the nature of the region from โ€œSaydet El Qorenโ€ โ›ฐ hill located at 2150 m above sea level and you will definitely need a light jacket even if it may be hot in Beirut. A big cross stand there overlooking Batroun โ€“ Jbeil area. Our trail will begin from Laqlouq and its downhill for about 13km. We will walk for a couple of hours to reach Balou3 balaa then Chatine village. The Balaa Pit or Baatara gorge ๐Ÿ’ฆ waterfall (also known as Balouaa Balaa) is very famous, it is one of the 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world, and it is a triple natural bridge located in the tiny village of Balaa. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฅพ HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous We will start our hiking near an old church and will see Akoura Beautiful Lakes. Part of our trail will be along with the LMT. There will be divided into three levels ๐Ÿ… Level 2 (Tour - Distance of 2 km - 1Hrs approx. at a slow pace) itโ€™s only ๐Ÿ‘“ visiting the amazing landmarks. ๐Ÿฅ‡ Level 4, is a downhill beautiful trail of just 7 KM. From the ๐Ÿ’’ old church, we will continue along a trail leading to Saydet El Dahab, then to the hill. We will also be able to see rare views particular to this altitude terrain. After crossing Laqlouq the ๐ŸŒซ๏ธ scenery changes from this stage; we will continue in a trail and ๐Ÿ”ญ breathtaking views to be remembered forever. The ๐Ÿšถ track will take us to Baatara gorge ๐Ÿ’ฆ waterfall. There is a snack where will have lunch together and you can also have your own ๐Ÿž picnic. We will walk down the stairs to see from up โ€œThe caveโ€ also known as the "Cave of the Three Bridges", the three natural bridges rising one above the other. ๐Ÿฅˆ Level 6 (13 Km Approxi.) will continue from Balaa Pit downhill and head towards the riverbank, then uphill until we reach Chatine village at an ๐Ÿ’’ old Church (Saidet el Atika) overlooking the area.
