Magic Presents: Open the Archive invites players to draft Secrets of Strixhaven, but with a twist. Mystical Archive cards—some of the most exciting pulls in each pack—can be played in any deck, regardless of color, opening new strategies and letting players fully enjoy every Mystical Archive card they draft.

This special Draft event occurs during the second half of the Secrets of Strixhaven season, offering stores and players a new experience after a few weeks of normal Draft play.

How to Run the Event
Players begin each game with an emblem that states:

Mana of any type can be spent to cast Mystical Archive cards.

Magic Presents: Open the Archive Emblem Card
Special drafting rule: With each player's first pick from each pack, they also take the Mystical Archive card from that pack.

Players who finish the event with a winning record (having more wins than losses) receive a blind-pack challenge coin featuring one of five Mystical Archive art designs.
