A prizewinner of the “N. Lysenko” National Piano Competition in Ukraine, Skovorodnikov serves as president and artistic director of the Music Encore Concert Society and principal of the Vancouver International School of Music.

Eugene Skovorodnikov

Audiences around the world recognize Eugene Skovorodnikov for his stylistic interpretation and technical brilliance. Born in Ukraine, he is a prize winner of the "N. Lysenko" National Piano Competition. He graduated from Lugansk Music College and Kharkov University of Arts in Ukraine and completed a post-graduate course at the St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia.

Skovorodnikov has performed in renowned venues such as St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, the Chan Centre for Performing Arts in Vancouver, and the Theatre Bibiena in Italy. He has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Mexican State Orchestra and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. A Steinway Artist, he has also served on the juries of many international piano competitions.
