In addition, she is a Mindfulness Practitioner and Yoga Instructor who has an extensive background working with eating disorders and addictive behaviors.

In addition to training and facilitating groups, Maria specializes in addictive behaviors, emotional eating, and helping women and men heal their relationship with food, weight, and body image.

She teaches heart-centered cognitive-somatic techniques and practical steps that empower her clients and students to prevail over stress, overwhelm, and struggle, enabling them to access their inner strength and wisdom, overcome problems, and create more happy, fulfilling, and purposeful lives.

From her personal and professional background, she brings an informed, focused, gentle, empathetic, and intuitive understanding of her clients’ and students’ pain and struggle. Since 2005, she has worked one-on-one and facilitated groups.
