Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who's choking, and helpful information like what to do if there's severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. This class does NOT include CPR.
Participants only need to attend one class, from 9a-4p, to complete the course.
Participants should pack a water bottle and snacks. There will be a 30 minute lunch break; participants are welcome to bring a lunch and eat at the Y, or they may go off-site for this time.
A $10 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is due at the time of registration. Cancellation requests must be sent in an email to
eW91dGggfCBhc2hsYW5keW1jYSAhIG9yZw== prior to payment drafting. Once payment has drafted, no refunds are available.
A minimum of four participants is needed to run this class. If we don't meet the minimum number of participants, the class will be cancelled and all participants will be refunded.
