Handwork Retreat. 

We will meet at Hope's Place located at 1100 Greenup Avenue, Ashland, KY on Saturday, September 12th at 9am and sew until our hearts are content (or until 7pm, whichever comes first). Sew what you want for however long you are able to stay. There are No Rules!   Well, does Have Fun, Meet New People, Eat Good Food, and WIN PRIZES count?

Let's Do Potluck and Snacks.  Since it is almost Fall, bring something like Soups or casseroles in Crock Pots.  Bring something to share with everyone and BYOB (Bring your own beverages).  There is a Kitchen Area with a coffee machine, fridge, microwave, etc. that we are able to use.  

The Meeting area has large tables as well as individual Sewing Tables, Chairs with Wheels, and an Elevator.  Parking is located BEHIND the Building as well as along the side street.  We will enter through the back door, and someone will be there to guide you are inside. 

Bring your Sewing Machine, basic notions, rotary cutters, cutting mats, small/travel irons, and ironing pads for your personal workstation. Cutting & Ironing Stations will be available but might get crowded. Search your WIPs and your UFOs and bring a couple to finish. Make new friends, learn new tips & tricks, share your experience and expertise with others and just have a Good Time creating with others.

Registration is Required so RSVP by 9/10/2026 to guarantee your spot. Cost is $25 per person.  If you have any questions, please call the shop (606-393-3994) or stop by to see us! We look forward to seeing you!
