Malinka is a 6-piece band from Ashland. We bring high-vibe Eastern European folk with a modern flavor. Romani, Balkan, Slavic, Latin and original music, with groovy, funky beats, drum & bass breakdowns, juicy guitar, clarinet, saxophone & hot violin... songs from many places in many languages, culminating in greater global awareness and interconnectedness. Our musicians are classically-trained, highly skilled & creative, and our music is upbeat, unique, and gets the crowd dancing.

Malinka has played at the Oregon Country Fair (2024, 2025), Britt Festival (2025, opening for Dirtwire and Free Creatures), Salamander Fest (2025), OSF Green Show (2022-25), Bandon Fringe Festival (2025), Talent Harvest Festival (2024), Oregon Fringe Festival (2024), Rogue World Music Festival (2023), and many other events and venues over the years.

We are in the midst of recording an album, set for release in spring 2026.
