The Ashland Lions Club will present its fourth annual M**der mystery dinner theater Friday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Ashland Transportation Center (99 Fifteenth Street.)
Goering’s Diamonds will be performed by M**der and Merriment, and takes place in 1945 near the end of World War II. The mystery’s setting is a train station in Lyon, France, making the Ashland Transportation Center a uniquely appropriate backdrop for the evening’s performance. The performance centers on a group of suspects who have gathered to steal a suitcase of diamonds from an American Army officer. Attendees to the Lions Club event will play the role of train station patrons.
Tickets to Goering’s Diamonds include the show, dinner and a wine and beer reception beginning at 6 p.m. Following the reception, dinner and the M**der mystery will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $60 a person with ticket packages available for those who purchase table sponsorships. All proceeds benefit the Ashland Lions Club’s eyesight program. The club provides eye glasses and eye exams in Ashland and Catlettsburg to those in need.
