Sunday, December 21st will be the shortest day of the year, and with it comes the longest night.
The Christmas season is usually a season to look forward to. A season of celebration and light.
But, for far too many this year, it might feel more like a season of darkness. While many are filled with joy and celebration, it’s a stark contrast to others who may be feeling loneliness, grief, loss, or separation.
At this service, we will be sharing time together and with God to acknowledge how we’re feeling and to make room for where we are right now. We will share space together, as a church family,
as neighbors, brought together by fragmented experiences, seeking some sense of wholeness.
We invite you to be present, to worship and to feel welcome
as you are, remembering that God has promised to meet us.
The service will be led by First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Ashland First United Methodist Church.
