Come and join us once a month at Toby House for our monthly Book Club for families of autistic children. We will have a monthly theme where there will be a selection of books on a subject that we can talk about. This month’s theme is on books related to Selective Mutism and we will be joined by Speech & Language Therapist Julie Cota who has a special interest in this.

This group will work differently to book clubs where they commonly choose a specific book to read and members will discuss that book at the same time. We know just how busy our families are so that's why we've decided that there will be no expectation to go away and read a full book, we will just have a selection of books out which are related to a monthly theme (this session will be around Selective Mutism) where we can talk about the books and give any recommendations around that topic. You are welcome to bring along any books that you would like to share too.
