Departing Woodville, we head towards the wind turbines sitting proud on the hills then as we snake our way through the Manawatu Gorge you get a feel for how quickly nature takes over.
Nearing Ashhurst you will see the extent of the construction works forming part of the new Te Ahu a Turanga โ Manawatลซ Tararua Highway as we pass under the newly constructed Parahaki Bridge.
Arriving at Ashhurst we stop briefly for the driver to change ends for the return journey.
