🚉 Travel on New Zealand’s only Mainline Heritage Railcar
Experience rail travel from a bygone age and join us on board our Standard Railcar RM31 “Tokomaru” for a return journey through the scenic Manawatu Gorge.
Departing Woodville, we head towards the wind turbines sitting proud on the hills then as we snake our way through the Manawatu Gorge you get a feel for how quickly nature takes over.
Nearing Ashhurst you will see the extent of the construction works forming part of the new Te Ahu a Turanga – Manawatū Tararua Highway as we pass under the newly constructed Parahaki Bridge.
Arriving at Ashhurst we stop briefly for the driver to change ends for the return journey.
