The Pop-Up Cafe is open every Thursday Morning from 10am - 12noon. It is run by volunteers and all funds raised go to the charity Pearce Coggan Foundation.

The Community Garden welcomes visitors all year Monday-Friday from 9.00am-3.00pm. Come and wander around and enjoy the garden, visit Fairy Land, bring along a picnic (we have picnic tables or you can bring your own rug) or simply sit and enjoy the peace and quiet for a while.

Maryann and Martin started The Pearce Coggan Foundation in 2014.

Although Maryann grew up in London she was fortunate enough to spend time in Shadoxhurst while her father renovated Alex Farm next door to Green Farm. She spent many happy days playing in what is now Fairy Land and it became a special place for her.

Martin spent his childhood in the country and believes every child should have the same privilege.

The Pearce Coggan Foundation, which is an independent Charity was set up to help people to connect with nature. The aim of the foundation is to enable children and adults alike to enjoy the countryside and experience the changing seasons.

Shelly is our Garden Manager who is most happy to talk about the community garden, what is growing and available to buy. She is always happy to welcome volunteers to join the team and help maintain the vegetable and flower beds.

On occasions during school holidays Fairy Land is closed to the public to allow children from London to come and camp and discover the delights of the countryside.

We hope that you will to come and visit and see for yourself what a truly beautiful community space has been created.
