Residents are invited to join our Community Safety team along with Kent Police for a community engagement event on Wednesday 18th February, from 15:00–17:00 in Lower High Street. 

Taking place during February half term, this event follows the renewal of the Ashford Urban Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). Officers and council staff will be on hand to speak with members of the public about the updated restrictions, what the changes mean in practice, and how the PSPO supports community safety across our town centre.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service will also be attending to provide fire‑safety advice and resources.

We will have a gazebo and information stand set up with leaflets, merchandise, and materials available for the public. The event aims to provide accessible information, answer questions, and encourage positive engagement with local services - please do pop along!
