We'll be learning about superstitions, making our own witchmarks and learning about local outspoken hero Reginald Scot.Week 4 (24 May) - Smuggling - What was it and why was it so popular in this area? We'll be learning about the different roles of a smuggler and who had the dangerous task of catching them. We'll be making smuggling rewards posters, making our own smuggling lamps and playing games to catch the smuggler.Week 5 (31 May) - Fortress Ashford - After the Dunkirk evacuation, the Nazis were swiftly approaching Kent, so what did we do to try to protect ourselves from invasion?
