Step back into the 1940s with Aero Legends.

This isn't just an airshow, it's a full step back in time. Military vehicles, living history, live 1940s music, immersive displays, and above it all, the aircraft that defined a generation.

✈️ THE FLYING PROGRAMME
Confirmed under Operations Order No. 1944 (subject to change and weather conditions):

- Fighter Sweep — Spitfire and two-seat Spitfire Trainer
- Smoke & Thunder — BAC Strikemaster and Spitfire
- Dakota Formation — Douglas C-47 pair
- Scramble Over Kent — Spitfires and the Hispano Buchon
- Airborne Assault — Douglas C-47 with a round-canopy parachute drop
- Fighter Command Display — Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hurricane
- Warbird Balbo — mass warbird formation
- Training Command — Harvard T-6 formation
- The Aero Legends Balbo — our mass warbird formation finale
- Stampe Formation Team

The Aero Legends C-47 Dakota fleet will fly and drop genuine round-canopy paratroopers above RAF Woodchurch, the same aircraft that supported the D-Day 82 commemorative parachute operations over Normandy, now coming home to Kent.
Further aircraft to be announced as the programme is finalised, you'll know exactly what to expect before you book.

? THE GROUND EXPERIENCE
This isn't an airshow you just watch, it's an afternoon you step inside. We have the D-Day Darling confirmed!!! Military vehicles,  and military vehicles. Living history reenactment groups across the site. 1940s music and wartime singers performing throughout both days, amongst other acts. 

Visitors in period dress are warmly encouraged, and those who commit to the spirit of the day might get offered a dedicated photo opportunity on the flight line, beside a aircraft.

? THE FLIGHT LINE WALK
At the end of every flying programme, the barriers come down. Every visitor, on every ticket, walks out airside among the aircraft, no rope lines, no distance. The kind of access that usually means a trip to Goodwood. This August, it's included with every ticket at RAF Woodchurch.

- General Admission: full flying display, ground experience, 1940s entertainment and end-of-show flight line walk. Day or weekend tickets. Family tickets available.
- Flight Line Premiere: exclusive fence-line access as aircraft taxi, the closest views outside the cockpit. Includes premium seating, parking and admission.
- Spitfire Lounge: private seating, complimentary buffet lunch, private bar access. 
- Flight Line Military Rides — guided jeep tours of the flight line. Bookings taken on the day.
- Family Ticket Package: 2 adults + up to 2 children, with additional children available at checkout. 

Full flying display, ground experience, 1940s entertainment and flight line walk included, a full day out without the price tag.

FREE ENTRY
✅ Under 5s, veterans, and pre-1950 car owners go free, please book online so we can manage numbers on the day.
✅ Veterans of any branch of the British or Allied armed forces, free entry, honour system.
✅ Pre-1950s vehicles, free entry and a place in the classic vehicle display.

RAF Woodchurch has parking for up to 150 visiting aircraft. Fly in, tie down, and walk out onto the same grass your aircraft just landed on.
