9:00am - Session 1 : How to Create More Effective Ad Campaigns on Facebook and Instagram - Sarah Benoit, Director of Training and Lead Instructor, JB Media Institute

Many businesses and organizations of all sizes run Instagram and Facebook ad campaigns, but they are often struggling to create the results they want and need. In this class, Sarah Benoit will share tips and strategies that can help you accomplish your goals so that you can build a larger following, create more brand recognition, increase engagement, and drive sales and leads.

10:15am - Panel : Between training sessions we will convene a panel of local and regional tourism marketing professionals. The panel will share their expertise and examples of their work with a focus on social media and other forms of digital advertising.

11:30am - Session 2 :  Interactive Strategy Development Session - Justin Belleme, Director of Strategy, JB Media GroupOnce you understand the latest best practices and tactics for Instagram and Facebook advertising, your next task is to create a unique and creative social media campaign to execute. During this brainstorming workshop, we will break into small groups and engage in rapid prototyping exercises to generate fun and exciting campaign ideas. We’ll also create brief strategic outlines to help make your campaign come to life. Participants will have the option to shared their ideas with the group, allowing for cross-pollination, further exploration, and input from the workshop leaders.

1pm - Bootcamp Sessions End

*Breaks and Refreshments: Breaks will be provided in between sessions; drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Sarah Benoit

In 2003, serial entrepreneur Justin founded his first business, AshevilleNow.com, an online magazine about the Asheville area for visitors. For the years that followed, he continued to work in tourism marketing, holding interim positions in online marketing with Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau and City of Asheville in 2010. In 2011, Justin launched internet marketing agency JB Media Group, where he continues to serve as Director of Strategy still today. In this role, he has provided strategic direction, consulting, and training for clients, including Blue Ridge National Heritage Area and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino.
