Doable Dununbas is the focus of this exciting drumming workshop in Asheville, led by the amazing Robin "Bountou" Leftwich of Happy Beat Drumming. Bring your djembe and dununs if you have them—some drums will also be available to borrow. Get ready for a full day of deep learning and high-energy fun!
The Dununba family of rhythms is rich, powerful, and deeply layered. This class is designed to introduce students to one of these rhythms while exploring the intricacies of both djembe and dunun parts. It will also support students in tackling more challenging, energetic dunun patterns that are both complex and satisfying to play.

The Passport series of classes gives drummers the opportunity to develop skills, learn new rhythms and have fun drumming with a great group of drummers. Each class of the Passport series is appropriate for beginners as well as more experienced drummers who want to expand their skills.
It's fine to jump in anytime in the series. If you know Bountou, then you know that each class is fun and packed full of content!
