This six-week series will offer teachings on how to practice mindfulness meditation that will include instruction on sitting, resting, walking and eating practices. This class will incorporate different types of breath work and body scans. It will also include home assignments that can be done to enhance one’s ability to stay present. Each class will build on the last, so no previous meditation experience is required.
This series is suitable for the novice person who is looking for tools to relieve stress and to stay present with the everyday changes and challenges that we are faced with. The series is also appropriate for the experienced practitioner who is looking to enhance an already existing meditation practice.
The proceeds earned will be donated to provide nutraceutical supplements that Kris will share with the underserved population that she treats in Asheville .
