Close Knobs is a new collaboration from Justin Stanton and Chris Bullock of Snarky Puppy, joined by drummer Kurt Stracener (Mellow Swells) and bassist Quinn Sternberg. The group explores a vibrant, wordless (but not always) sound world shaped by Brazilian music, electronic textures, and free improvisation. Think Milton Nascimento meets Alice Coltrane meets Flying Lotus. Rooted in melody and spontaneity, their music invites listeners into a space of deep connection and exploration. Dancing is optional but encouraged.
