This boutique-style, point-to-point race takes runners through Asheville’s most scenic and iconic areas—including downtown streets, historic Montford, the River Arts District, along the French Broad River, and through beautiful city parks.

In 2024, the Asheville Half Marathon was named the Best Half Marathon in the U.S. by HalfMarathons.net—and now, it’s also been selected by Outside Run as one of 12 Races to Turn Into a Vacation in 2026! 

This year’s race continues our commitment to supporting our community. We’re proud to partner with United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County to help strengthen local families and neighborhoods—continuing the work started after Hurricane Helene and beyond.

Registration opens at our Registration Launch Party at New Belgium Brewing on Thursday, July 17! Don’t miss your chance to sign up early for this one-of-a-kind Asheville race experience—spots are limited.
