- **Event Description**: Hi Folks, we are back at The Lyric Rooms on Thurs Nov 6th, with another great line-up of comedians featuring, the inimitable Markus Birdman who was a semi-finalist on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ topping the bill and the wonderful Ben Norris who has appeared on ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and ‘Mock the Week’, opening the night.

Topping the bill is the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of last year's ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.

Opening the night will be the affable Ben Norris who has appeared on TV’s ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and ‘Mock the Week’ as well as being the voice on campaigns for Carling and Emirates. Once when he was the warm-up man for ‘Mock the Week’ he had to stand in for Frankie Boyle who was rushed to hospital. A natural comedian, his sharp mind-set and supply of clever lines keep his audiences totally absorbed.

Also appearing will be the witty and eloquent Ant Dewson, with his musical comedy feast and rhyming riot.

Completing the line-up is Ava Da Costa Maia with her amusing tales about her personal disasters and dilemmas.

Compere for the night will be the chatty and cheerful Spiky Mike.
