Got a plant that’s struggling?
Wondering what to grow in Mid Canterbury?
New to the area or maybe new to gardening?
Come along to a relaxed, friendly session at the community garden where local gardeners share their practical know-how and help you tackle any garden question — big or small.
Bring photos of problem plants, mystery pests, or spaces you’d like to grow in. Or simply come along for a chat and some inspiration. Our “experts” are everyday locals with years of hands-on experience (One has 80+ years of experience!!)— no jargon, no judgement, just real advice that works in our climate.
Whether you’re a seasoned grower, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between, you’re very welcome.
We'll provide a cuppa and it's also a good opportunity to have a look at the Community Garden and find out more about it and the local 'Garden Conversation Hour' group.
FREE EVENT but please register on humanitix so we know if anyone is coming and can let you know if there are any changes e.g. because of weather.
