🎄✨ Ashbourne Lantern Spectacular 2025 ✨🎄
Friday 5th December | From 5pm | Ashbourne Town Centre
Get ready for a night bursting with light, music and festive magic! 🌟
From 5pm, the town will be alive with street entertainment, late-night shopping, delicious street food, charity stalls, and a Craft Fair in the Town Hall (4–9pm). Soak up the atmosphere, grab a bite to eat and enjoy the build-up before the main event!
🕯️ At 6.30pm, hundreds of glowing lanterns will set off from St Oswald’s Church, creating a breathtaking parade through the streets, all the way to the newly completed Market Place.
🪩 SPARK!, the world-famous LED drummers, are back to light up the night with their spectacular performance you’ll never forget!
Keep your eyes peeled for the unexpected… maybe a shimmering shoal of fish, giant jellyfish or even towering gingerbread men! And don’t miss Ozzy Owl swooping through the night sky with his amazing handlers. 🦉
🎶 Once the parade reaches the Market Place, join in the Christmas carols led by a local choir, the perfect, heartwarming start to the festive season.

🚗 Roads closed 5–8:30pm (with car park access)

💫 The Lantern Spectacular is a true community celebration, brought together by the Ashbourne Christmas Group, which includes Ashbourne Arts, Ashbourne Churches Together, Ashbourne Town Council and Ashbourne Retail Group.
