Taonga Tākaro (Sacred Play) sessions are for anyone looking for collective accountability to dedicated time for themselves, whether it be work projects or rest/creative play time.   

Taonga means treasure, anything prized, socially or culturally valuable objects, resources, phenomenon, ideas and techniques.
Tākaro were traditional games/play that had cultural, historical, environmental and spiritual contexts designed to improve the well-being of people and communities.

We will meet at Dwell which offers hot desk zones for quiet/concentrated tasks; couches and project tables for creative, craft or collective activities; and the Pod which is available for
contemplative reflection, 1:1 meetings and naps.

SETTLING IN & FINDING FLOW 

Wander in, find a perch and get into it. 

10.30AM At morning tea we offer a check in, familiarisation with the space, setting personal goals for the retreat, setting up understandings – some people need nattering during the day, some need undisturbed etc.

Optional: brief group check-in — “What are you working on, and what would make this day a success for you?”

Quiet, independent writing time

Informal conversation and connection
