# Event Details - **Event Name**: Disco Groove Pride Cookie Decorating Class - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 22 Jun, 2024 at 04:00 pm – Sat, 22 Jun, 2024 at 05:30 pm - **Event Description**: Kick it off in June, dance all Summer! This is going to be a fun and groovy cookie class with a killer playlist!The cookies we will decorate in this class are:1 Peace Sign1 Disco Ball1 Full Rainbow1 Daisy1 Smiley Face1 House HeartColors: will be "groovy rainbow" to celebrate Pride!As in all of our cookie workshops Dani provides a step by step "how to ice" demonstration of each cookie then each participant decorates their own version. Icing decorating candy and all supplies included. Participants take home a box of cookies they decorated. Note: the cookies in this class are a bit more intermediate level.All supplies included. Ages 10 and up. Registration for this event will close Wednesday June 19th. This class will be approx. 2 hours long. Pride inspired outfits and accessories are welcome and encouraged!This workshop will be held at Sweet Dani B Cookie Kitchen & Petite Party Studio 717 Bangs Avenue Asbury Park NJ COOKIE WORKSHOP FAQ:Ticketholders at Tables Only: Due to room capacity constraints in our space we are only able to accommodate cookie icers at our tables. If you would like to be seated with other cookie icers who are registered under another name please let us know in advance (the week before) as we pre-assign seating for each workshop and can not accommodate last minute seat changes. Drop off welcome for kids in certain classes: age requirement 8 and up.Covid Policy: We are a small studio with communal tables. Please do not come to our studio if you are not feeling well.Timing: Please arrive promptly or 5 minutes before class. Due to our limited capacity we can not accommodate any earlier arrivals. We do have a bench outside for waiting. The workshop will last for an hour and a half to two hours depending on class speed of icing each cookie.Coffee and Snacks: We are BYOB. No outside food allowed. You may pre purchase snacks to enjoy during class from our add on menu. There are also many fun places nearby to grab a cocktail or meet up for lunch before or for dinner afterward. Ask us for recommendations.Cookie Allergy Disclaimer: Sweet Dani B cookies are preservative free and are baked with the freshest ingredients... butter eggs sugar flour and a few secret ingredients that make them extra yummy. Our recipe does not include nuts but our cookies and icing is made in a kitchen where nuts are present. In the workshop we will be using various candies to decorate our cookies some of which originate in facilities that process nuts. Our royal icing is made with sugar and meringue powder.Photo Release: We take lots of photos in our workshops. Please let us know if you prefer not to be photographed.Parking: Parking in Asbury Park is pay at the meter parking. You can also download the ASBURY PARK app.Dining In the Area: If you are attending this cookie workshop and would like to grab a bite do not miss the deliciousness of the restaurants in Asbury Park! There are many restaurants in walking distance to our shop and others that are just a 5 minute drive away. Email us for recommendations.Refunds: Due to limited seating and the individual prep work required for each cookie icer in attendance our cookie workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. (We suggest via post on instagram that we can re-share for you) In some cases we can pack up your cookies to go for you to DIY at home as an alternate option- this option is time sensitive so be aware.
