Nature Storytime programs are geared for 3-5 year olds in our Visitor Center Classroom. We will be reading a story, exploring natural items related to the topic, and doing a topic themed craft. Weather permitting, we will try to explore outside in addition to the indoor components.
Sneaky Spiders

Feathered Friends

Take to the skies and explore some of our feathered friends as we read The Cat in the Hat’s “Fine Feathered Friends”.
Growing in the Garden
Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at 10am
Take a peak under the leaves and see who all can be found in a garden. Join us as we read “Secrets of the Vegetable Garden” by Carron Brown and Giordano Poloni.
This program runs about an hour to hour and a half (depending on attention and outdoor activities). Guardians must stay with participant. Siblings and others are welcome to attend. Vehicle permits are required for all vehicles entering North Dakota State Parks.
