Experience the warmth and simplicity of an Old-Fashioned Christmas at the Illinois Amish Heritage Center. This intimate holiday event brings together Amish schoolhouse singing, a home-cooked Christmas dinner, simple Christmas games, classic carol singing, and a small gift for every guest — all set within our historic buildings and decorated spaces.
⭐ Event Schedule
2:00 PM — Meet at the Heritage Center
Check in before the group heads out together.
Amish Schoolhouse Visit
Enjoy a special visit to a nearby Amish schoolhouse to hear children rehearse their Christmas singing — a cherished holiday tradition.
5:00 PM — Christmas Dinner in the 1882 Schrock House
Gather around the table for a homemade, family-style meal inside the restored Schrock House decorated for Christmas.
