Here’s what’s happening on July 4, 2026:

7:00 AM – City-Wide Salute at Heritage Plaza
Broadcast live by KSVP Radio, featuring the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, and National Anthem. Join us in person or tune in from wherever you are.

7:00 AM – Firecracker Scramble at Artesia Country Club
4-person golf scramble hosted by Artesia Chamber of Commerce with tee times throughout the day.

7:00 AM – Stars, Stripes, & Dinks Pickleball Tournament at Jaycee Park
Beginner and advanced divisions with cash prizes.

7:30 AM – Star Spangled Dash 5K Fun Run
Hosted by Artesia Arts Council, starting at Heritage Plaza. Expect color, fun, and patriotic chaos!

9:00 AM – 4 vs. 4 Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament Begins
Cash prizes and guaranteed games make this one a crowd favorite.

9:00 AM – “Let Freedom Ring” Patriotic Parade
Hosted by Elks Club D.O.E.S. down Main Street. This year, they’re encouraging over-the-top float decorating for the big anniversary celebration. Bring back the chicken wire and paper mâché!

All Day – Skydiving at ATS (Artesia Municipal Airport)

3:00 PM – Aiden Logsden Live at Jaycee Park
Enjoy Texas country music live on stage.

3:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Adobe Rose Beer & ‘Rita Garden Open

3:30 PM – Bags Fly! Top Dog Switch Cornhole Tournament
Cash prizes and bragging rights included.

6:00 PM – Shine-ola Takes the Stage
Rock and roll covers live at Jaycee Park.

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM – Food Truck Alley Open All Day
Come hungry!

9:00 PM (Sundown) – Fireworks Extravaganza at Jaycee Park
Grab your lawn chairs and enjoy a nearly 25-minute choreographed fireworks show lighting up the Artesia sky.
