Hello everyone! Here is the long awaited HASA VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT. This year, we will be hosting Men’s and Women’s at Madtown Volleyball in Madison, Wisconsin. There will be a total of 5 courts: 3 for men’s and 2 for women’s. Men’s teams will cap at 15 and women’s at 10. Read below for details!
REGISTRATION RULES:
💰Registration Fee: $180 + Security Deposit ($50)

SECURITY DEPOSIT GUIDELINES:
👉🏼Each team will have an assigned bleacher to sit at
‼️Security deposit of $50 THROUGH VENMO will be refunded at the end of the tourney unless:
- ‼️Any trash found (even a water bottle, clothes, etc) in your area will result in AUTOMATICALLY taking away the security deposit from your team. EVEN IF IT IS JUST ONE WATER BOTTLE. A NAPKIN, OR CLOTHING. HASA is not your janitor and we will not tolerate people leaving their trash.
- ‼️If you get caught drinking on the premises (inside the facility AND in the parking lot), it will result in AUTOMATICALLY taking away the security deposit from your team. After a first offense, your team WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, and any drinking/smoking offenses after will result in your team being removed from the premises. HASA would like to keep our tournament a safe environment and respect facility policies.
⭐️Last person from the team to leave must send a photo of area to HASA, Emily, Caleb, or Athena before leaving to ensure the security deposit can be returned
VENUE RULES
❌ NO ALCOHOL or SMOKING on the premise❗
✔️ Outside food and drinks are allowed
‼️ Please be respectful of the venue, and DO NOT disturb the other courts that are not a part of the tournament.
‼️Unused courts are meant for vacancy because of contracts. If members that are playing in the tournament are found using blocked off and unused courts, SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE TAKEN AWAY‼️
‼️Members that are not on a team, will be kindly asked to leave. The use of these courts that HASA did not rent out is a breach of contract that we will be charged for. Please be respectful of the venue.
OTHER:
🧾 There will be NO REFUNDS for teams that CANCEL AFTER THE MONDAY OF THE TOURNAMENT OR ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT. If the tournament is cancelled due to weather or any other circumstances, REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WHO HAVE PAID.
DRAWING/SEEDING:
- Drawings for Pool Play will be on the Thursday before the tournament (April 2nd, 2025) @ 6:00 PM CST
- We will go live on the HASA facebook page, and will determine team placement for pool play through random drawing

Setting first touch is legal
First touch can be a double
No middle line crossing (for safety)
Warning on first foot fault only, recurrences are points for other team
4 players minimum should be on the court to play
Tournament rotation (stacking not required)
One player cannot serve for two people

IMPORTANT: If team is not present within 10 minutes of previous game ending, they will be DQed

If losers play the next game, the team that has the BYE for that round will ref

‼️WARNING GUIDLINES:
All courts will have designated monitors that have the AUTHORITY to make any calls regarding poor behavior and bad sportsmanship
Any sort of altercations (on AND off the court) will result in consequences
