What is the 'Pick a Pack' format?
Pick a Pack is a tournament where all that the players need to do is open up one booster, build their deck and just play. It is a fun and beginner friendly format in which all level players can participate. Each player gets a sealed booster pack at the beginning of the tournament. Then they open the pack and add 9 energy cards to build a 20 card 'deck'. After the deckbuilding phase participants play a few best-of-1 Swiss rounds. 

RULES:
- Each player opens their pack and adds 9 energy
  cards to it to create a “deck” of 20 cards
- They place 2 prize cards
- Energy types don’t matter
- Players don’t lose if they draw all their cards, they
keep playing normally
- Basic Pokémon can evolve into any Stage 1 evolved
Pokémon (and Stage 1 Pokémon can evolve into
any Stage 2 Pokémon)

PRIZE SUPPORT:
- Each player receives 1 Booster Pack to play the tournament with.
- Each player receives 2 Prize packs.
