A new Health & Wellness Table will begin meeting in Arnaudville on Saturday, March 7, 2026, the first odd-numbered Saturday of the month. The gathering will take place at NUNU Arts & Culture Collective, which is serving as the host location.
The Health & Wellness Table is a community-led conversation space focused on health, healing, and wellbeing as lived and shared experiences. It is not owned, operated, or curated by NUNU; rather, NUNU offers space in support of open, community-driven exchange.
The table brings together practitioners, caregivers, elders, artists, farmers, and community members to share knowledge, ask questions, and learn from one another in an informal and respectful setting. The emphasis is on conversation, listening, and relationship, recognizing that health is shaped by culture, environment, food, movement, and connection.
Each gathering may include facilitated dialogue, shared practices, and opportunities for participants to contribute from their own experience. Topics emerge organically from those present and may shift from month to month. The Health & Wellness Table is open to the public and free to attend.
The series meets on the first odd-numbered Saturday of each month, alternating with the Indigenous Table, which meets on even-numbered first Saturdays. Both are followed by the Theology Table (12:00–2:00 PM) and Meditative Drumming (2:30–4:00 PM). Participants are encouraged to spend the day—grab a coffee, tea, or lunch, and move between gatherings as desired.
